Before Ordering Furniture Online in Hawaii, Read This

Q: Does Furniture Express Hawaii really ship to the Hawaiian Islands for free?

A: Yes, we ship to the following ports on the Hawaiian Island for free: Honolulu on Oahu, Hilo or Kona on Big Island, Kahului, Maui, and Nawiliwili, Kauai. Lanai and Molokai will require additional shipping fees.

Q: Do you have a physical furniture store on Oahu?

A: No, we do not have a physical furniture store on Oahu or on any of the islands. We are an Online Furniture Store on Oahu, based in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Q: How do you sell furniture online so much cheaper than all the other retail furniture stores on Oahu and the outer islands?

A: We are only an online furniture store (e-commerce store) so we do not have the overhead that the brick and mortar stores here on the islands incur.

Q: How long have you been in the online furniture store business?

A: We have been in the furniture industry for over 25 years. We used to own the Discount Furniture Warehouse store on the island of Oahu and closed the brick and mortar store to go strictly online as Furniture Express Hawaii. We want to be the furniture store with the cheapest prices in the Hawaiian Islands. 

Q: Where do I buy from your online furniture store?

A: Only here on our website You can shop online, chat online, call the office or email us directly with any questions you may have, and our experienced sales people will help to answer any questions before you buy.

Q: Do you deliver to my home:

The free shipping that is advertised is free to your Hawaiian Port (excluding Molokai and Lanai) so this is considered will-call/pickup. We do however, offer delivery to your home if needed, this an additional fee and can be selected at checkout.

Q: Do the items come assembled?

A: Most items on our site will require some assembly. The “ready-to-assemble” pieces will require the most time to assemble. You can always chat online, email or call the office with any questions regarding assembly on any of the pieces prior to purchasing.

Q: Do you offer assembly?

A: We do offer assembly on our furniture which is considered a White Glove Service, but is on a case by case basis. Once your items are purchased, and this is something you would like, we will be happy to get a quote for that white glove service.

Q: Where do I pick-up my furniture?

A: Once you purchase your items on our online furniture store, you will be emailed a receipt and the freight company’s address for pickup, located near the Hawaiian port of choice.

Q: How long does it take to get my purchase?

A: Orders that ship to Honolulu come in about 2 weeks. Outer islands take a bit longer as everything comes through Honolulu first. The other ports are usually closer to 3 weeks to arrive and be ready to pick-up.

Q: If I live on Molokai or Lanai how do I get my furniture?

A: Once your furniture purchase arrives into Honolulu, it will be off-loaded from the container and brought to Young Brothers. It will then be shipped COD to you and the BOL Number will be emailed to you for reference.

Q: What if I want to return my online furniture store items?

A: Please be sure to read our return policy on the Delivery and Returns section at the bottom of this website before you purchase online so you know what the costs are associated with all returns.

Q: What if my purchase arrives damaged?

A: Do not fret; we will take care of it! Please refer to the Delivery and Returns page on the bottom of this website. Unfortunately, when shipping items thousands of miles across the ocean, damages sometimes occur. Please keep all the boxes and take lots of photos, and then call the office or email us and we will take care of it!

Q: Do you offer Military discounts on furniture?

A: We offer discounts to everyone. If you signup to our mailing list/newsletter you will receive a discount on your first order, and notifications of all closeout sales, holiday sales and special flash sales.

Q: Why should I buy furniture online instead of at the NEX furniture store in Pearl Harbor?

A: When you order furniture from the NEX it can take 6 months or more for it to arrive to Honolulu. If you want to get your furniture quickly (in 2 weeks) ordering online from Furniture Express Hawaii is fast, and cheap!
