For the price with free shipping to Hawaii - this is a decent product. The free shipping includes will-call pick up at the Kahului harbor DHX office. This package is HEAVY - you will need two strong people and a large SUV or truck.
Upon getting the package home, I had three flights of stairs to my master bedroom. I laid the package out on the ground and opened it up - all the components are inside of the headboard - once you take everything out you can easily carry most things with one person - I was able to also carry the headboard but it was still pretty heavy.
Assembly wasn't very difficult - instructions are pretty simple and I was able to assemble 100% on my own - took me just under an hour.
Comments on the product: The gray I feel is quite a bit lighter than what I see on the screen - wasn't exactly the look I was going for, but wasn't a deal breaker.
The box spring support seems kind of iffy - there is a small, about 2x2 board on each side that holds three 1x3 planks across the base to hold the box spring. Personally this doesn't seem to be able to hold much in terms of weight. However, this wasn't much of a concern for me as I built this bed around an adjustable base foundation.
The footboard feet seemed flimsy. Rather small wood pieces held by a dowel and one screw - Again, since I wasn't really putting any additional weight on the bedframe since my mattress is supported entirely by the adjustable platform) this also isn't much of an issue for me.
For the price and free shipping an overall above average value.
